July 2017 Professor Iain McCalman, Research Professor of History and Co-Director of the Sydney Environment Institute at the University of Sydney contacted me with the invitation to submit work to be part of ‘cabinet of curiosities’ that will form the website and ultimately a book to accompany an exhibition at the National Museum of Australia in 2018. Understanding Australia in the Age of Humans: Localising the Anthropocene Some of her small textile sculptures exhibited in the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. Invited to participate in the Rococo Revolution, Melbourne, as a designer and artist and exhibited pieces in the Women’s Gallery, Carlton. Her fashion work has appeared in Vogue Australia, Australian Fashion Week, Australian Gown of the Year (for which the works toured Australasia), the DuPont Awards and has graced the catwalks of numerous other fashion events. Other costume work has been with Director Jeff Hockley on productions of The Mikado, Into the Woods and Amadeus and with Michelle Cripps on the production of Fiddler on the Roof.
